To reinvent the flow of a room, change it with curtains, it doesn’t cost much, and it’s a good fix that can absolutely change the mood. Hanging wire systems can be sized to different areas of the room to define sections, from sleeping to working, without moving walls. Create a privacy screen around any space by mounting rods to the ceiling. Use them to envelope your bed in a gauzy tent or even to section off areas into miniature rooms. We like tension rods for a no-drill execution in abbreviated spaces like window seats. Just make sure to use them with lighter fabrics. And for a more grounded option, consider screen dividers with gentle curves.
A Space For Comfort That Doesn’t Cost

Welcome! I’m Masha, a passionate advocate for the intersection of mental wellness and design. With a background in criminal justice and criminology, I’ve always been fascinated by the ways our environments shape our thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being. This curiosity led me to explore how psychological principles can be seamlessly integrated into home design to create spaces that not only look beautiful but also foster mental health and relaxation. In addition to my studies, I run a small business called OCD (Organize Create Design), where I focus on designing spaces that promote mental awareness and well-being. I believe that our surroundings have a profound impact on our mental state, and through my work, I aim to help others create homes that truly support their emotional and psychological needs. This blog is a space where I share insights, tips, and research on how to apply psychological theories to home design. Whether you’re looking to create a stress-free environment, enhance your productivity, or simply make your home a sanctuary, you’ll find practical advice and inspiration here. When I’m not writing or working on design projects, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in criminal justice and criminology at UMKC. My goal is to contribute to policymaking that positively impacts international adoptees and families, drawing from both my personal experiences and academic knowledge. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope you find the content here helpful and inspiring as you work to create a home that nurtures your well-being.
